Key Highlights

Keynotes and session
Our high-level keynotes and sessions, held from 2-4 September, will show best practices management approaches and cutting-edge research to strengthen governance for sustainability, focusing also on regulatory impacts on hydropower management and river restoration.

Field trips
Choose from a variety of exciting fieldtrips in and around Vienna, such as boating in the National Park, visiting a swimming in-situ fish conservation boat or seeing unique large-scale restoration measures, or take an overnight trip to flagship hydropower facilities in the Austrian Alps.

SUSHP 2025 promotes international networking, connecting researchers, practitioners, stakeholders, and governmental authorities in the heart of Europe.
