About the SUSHP Conference Series
After the successful conferences in Norway (2023) and Sweden (2019), the third international conference on Sustainability in Hydropower will take place in Vienna, Austria, featuring an extensive scientific and social program as well as field trips across Austria.
This conference brings together leading experts, researchers, and decision-makers from Europe and around the world. We expect up to 300 participants on-site, along with a number of online attendees. The core of the event is a high-level scientific congress focusing on sustainability, ecology, innovation, and best practices in hydropower. Beyond academic discussions, the event aims to facilitate knowledge transfer to developing nations and to strengthen international collaboration between the hydropower sector, regulatory authorities, and the scientific community.
