Travel to Western Austria to experience the spectacular landscape and visit key sites of Austrian alpine hydropower. Highlights include Kopswerk II, one of the largest pumped-storage power plants; the hydropeaking compensation basin Silz, the largest of its kind in Europe; the innovative fish lift at Runserau; and GKI, one of the largest hydropeaking diversion power plants worldwide.
